Here we go...we have 3 locations to pick from

Dates are July 3-5.

Where is Harlen KY?

I'm 4.5 hours from Mountain City TN and Delta AL so it doesn't matter either way to me.

I voted TN Since it's a lot more central to the SEC than AL and KY is too damn far from me!

Callalantee might as well be in Kentucky for where it's at! What's in Delta, AL? I'm not sure if I'll make this. June-August may be down time for me while I buy my newer Cherokee and get it ready for Moab.

Looks like we'll be running Windrock that weekend b/c we do have some smaller rigs with us. Anyone interested in joining is welcome.

If Callalantee is too difficult for smaller rigs then we will do Halren which can handle all levels.

Callalantee isnt too difficult for small rigs.. BUT, there are only a handfull of trails all over the mountain sides... which are poorly marked... and unless you have someone leading a group that's been there several times you'll spend hours just driving around.

Small rigs can run most/all trails and watch others try the ledges/waterfalls/creekbeds, etc.... and they can try them.. but i'd either have a winch or a buddy that doesnt mind pulling you around all the time.

YOU DO NOT want to do the Crawl at Callalantee!

Harlan would be find by me... OR IF people are concerned about "smaller" rigs... why not do it at Uwharrie... plenty of space to camp and lots of trails... You also have the lake, etc.

Some will say Uwharrie isn't challenging enough... I mean that's how I feel about it... BUT, I get to wheel enough hard stuff monthly that a nice meet/greet at Uwharrie would be fun... + I enjoy watching other people try stuff more than me actually doing it...

Well due to my schedule as a student, the Crawl has been my one major wheeling trip per year for the past few years. I guess my vote is for Harlan, seeing as it is roughly the same distance from me as Tellico. I can also go ahead and say that more than likely if it is at Uwharrie I will not be attending.
Just my .02

Isn't challenging enough? Well Chris...not everybody has a 1,874.38 inch lift with 144" tires.....

Ha ha...just kidding. Yeah, it's always fun to help people through obstacles they've never done before. That's 75% the fun of wheeling to me! Even though I don't have a big rig right now...my previous wheeling adventures have been filled with "coaching"...(come on...do it you pu$$...just gas it! Show you have a set!) LOL!

I get to wheel Uwharrie quite often... so I know what lines to take.... BUT, if it's wet Uwharrie's a totall different animal...

Have it at Uwharrie and I'll take a group up to DPG for the afternoon if it's not hard enough for you... I'll guarantee you there's plenty of lines there none of us are going to get up...
