check engine light

i have a 01 cherokee with the cel on from the missfire when the fuel injectors
leak down is there a way i can reset the light with out taking it to the shop?

Go to the dealer for this one. Not just to reset the light, but to get the software update which corrects the problem once and for all. There is a TSB for this one, so you may not have to pay for it. Mine was out of warranty when I took it in and the dealer comped it for me. They even threw in the car wash and breakfast.
