First, one stupid question. How do you know you need to replace your injectors? I ask because, other than an injector leaking, most times they can be cleaned and made to work quite easily. I hate to see people soak $300+ for the wrong reason.

Many people use Ford injectors from ebay. I scored a used set for $60 for my stroker. The injectors are actually more efficient due to their design.

Check here for some cheap replacements. You could afford to overnight them.

they started leeking from the pigtail connetion had a crack about 7 m onths ago and to just do a trail repair i JB welded them and it was fine till about a week ago when they all sarted leaking agin.

Mine was leaking and today I went to the junkyard and found a wrecked 94 5.0 mustang then pulled the 8 injectors and paid $40 for all 8. They are Bosch, orange top, 19lb.
I replaced all the injectors after getting the O-Ring kits at the auto parts store (about $25 for 8).
Engine runs better and has more throttle response. Took me about an hour to replace them and now I have 2 Bosch spares and 5 stock spares for about $65 total.

Those Bosch injectors are perfect. Just the right size and of better performance than the originals. You can find used sets on ebay all the time.
