OKI just put a new engine in my 2001. Jeep cherokee with a four point seven stroker. Call the engine new injectors. The coil pack plugs. Now I get APO 305 code. Check all the wires the wiring harness. I get a constant ground to number five injector

Somewhere around here someone tracked it back to the coil pack plug at the back of the cylinder head by the firewall. I'll post a link if I can find it.

I checked all the wires, they were all heat soaked so I separated them all checked with my power probe and ohmes meter, no shorts or grounding issues. Intermittent signals from the computer on Injectors 5 and 6. Today I was checking things. And now I'm getting a injector 3 code miss fire.

I get it. Here is the link anyway. <LINK>

Thanks so much, Tomorrow I will start checking it all over again. Been dealing with this problem for about six months. Put the new engine in and plugged. Everything back in had nothing but problem sense. Appreciate all the help I will let do you know what I find out thank you

When I had this problem it was the injector wiring around the rear of the manifolds (5-6) that was shorting out to ground.its a 2000 with a 4.6 stroker!
