Well, Cal's not going to be able to make it after all, and Georgia Mike is the only one committed, so I'm going to cancel. Maybe somewhere closer to here in TN, or another weekend, sorry yall

Im in Chattanooga, and we have quite a few options locally within about 30 minutes:
Mt Aetna, Lewis Chapel, AOP, Big Fork, and some consider Prentice Cooper "wheeling"
Aetna is the local favorite, LC is my favorite and is 90% rock, AOP is the only close by park we have, Big Fork and PC are both...eh
Id like to join...but work until 4 on saturdays.

I've never been to Aetna, but I've always heard that it's a cool spot. I thought I'd read that they closed it a few years ago? Apparently it wasn't, or did they reopen it?

It is some complicated land lease deal, but people just go up there anyway without buying into it. David probably knows more about it than I do about it. I've never seen pictures of anything super cool out there other than some mud spots. My friends in my club told me there are a bunch of rock ledges though.

So, still nothing definite yet, except that Cal isn't getting here in time to do any wheeling, and yesterday's jeep damage should be easily fixable. So, who's going somewhere within 75 miles of Winchester TN next weekend?
