this is my first attempt at this...good luck to everyone, we have some pretty sick rigs in the Sierra chapter!! :)

i want to add that i just replaced all the ujoints :)

Wow!!! That must have made a sick noise when going between power and drag, I bet you could even feel it. Watch out over tighting the caps, it tends to turn your needle berings to dust, I have lost a set or two from that.

You got my vote, because I like your Rubicon photos the best, floating a tire and the shot above the box is cool.

Good luck to everyone, not a bad rig in the bunch.

ya that was the front position ujoint on the rear shaft..nothing i did wrong on that side...could have been way worse!! i got it before it blew up on the freeway.

thanks for the vote!!
:)

I'm glad to see that the sierra chapter still thinks Maximum Traction \ Retard tires and black rock crawler wheels are the way to go.

Good luck to all of you - and go Sierra Chapter in the shootout!

Tough choice, all fine rigs! Voted!

I also might add this is DD everyday for a 60 mile commute and my weekend getaway vehicle without ever talking back to me :) yes I am kinda whoring my Jeep.

went out to Camp Far West yesterday 3/12
