changing the jeep.......

well as you know my jeep got into a fight with a pole...(damn mall crawlers.)
so im changing a lot of things up....being dumb and random with some....and others are needed to run....
im upgrading and "destroying" all at the same time....love it....

im just gonna post as progress goes on.....
but here is the plans.....


body:
fix dented/destroyed rear body
get door to close
actually mount up bumper correctly
rewire lights

drivetrain:
o through and clean up/help motor...(plugs/wires/filters/oils)
fix rear axle.

suspension/steering/etc:
lil more lift
tires
rims
new steering components
longer brake lines




ok so here we go with whats done.....

new trackbar/drag link..sprayed em stupid bright orange....

got em mounted up along with new steering stabilizer...

mocked up the 33x12.50's going on

installed the K&N and added some water wetter after coolant flush(thanks G/F)

decided white wasnt workin so i went black...and more orange lol

got the dent most of the way out on pasenger side but it tweaked roof.....so i cut it off (thanks to boyd and surfxjsnow)

this is how she sits for now.....still needing some paint and work.....
got the fron bumper back on but no pics yet :greensmok



pickin up axle and some spacers on wednesday
also gettin longer brake lines, blocks on thirsday
and then ordering rims/shocks....

well i went to do black....and then wanted something random....the girl tossed out orange...so i tried it...and i like it a lot!!!!!

so im stickin with it......

here is a better shot of the back and then one of my girl learning the way of the sawzall....

and yes...that damn star is still there.....need to figure out that wiring bug...still gets me every now and then....any thoughts surfxjsnow?

I have to agree with Frank on the PPEs. I hate to be the arsehole...no I don't! Old geezers like me really dread seeing history repeat it's-self:
My SIL had her hair in a ponytail under a ballcap. The tail got caught by a drill press she operated. By the time her nearest co-worker could get the machine turned off, her scalp was peeled back, multiple concussions, mulitple fractured vertibrae in her neck, and she lived. She is on SSI disability now, when she hits retirement age she's really screwed.

ok so here is an update.....so far i got my axle and other misc parts form dutch (thanks bud)
axle is swapped in...blocked rear...just picked up rear shocks...ordered fronts and ordering rims tonight...

Lift blocks? Shame on you. I sincerely hope you didn't use u-bolts from Checker or Vato Zone.... they're weaker than shit. Coupled with lift blocks.... that's a tragedy linked to a time bomb. :twak:

well yella the blocks and spacers are only for about a month or so till i can get ACTUAL lift.....blocks i bought from friend and the u bolts he had to from the lift on his yota....dont know what they are....but media blastin made em pretty lol....


uh i just left the welds alone for now....gonna get locker and put in the 29 spline.....

nothing special for now...but will do til i get teh ACTUAL lift on (springs coils, shackles, y-link)
but thats it for now








DOEs anyone know where to get longer vacuum lines for the 4WD?....mine are old, hard, and too short lol
