What? I pulled the motor out sat. night and dropped the other one in sunday and drove it by sunday evening. You've apparantly never swapped a motor in an XJ because they are REAL simple to do. The plugs were only a year old and weren't cheap plugs. I worked at a parts store at the time so they were discounted but they were still probably $25. Knowing what I know now I wouldn't bother buying expensive plugs but they were good so I reused them. Wolfpack.....more like the brains of a flock of birds.:moon:

Listen. I don't put anything new on my 20 and 21 year old XJ's unless I have to. Oh, and hand built stroker? You mean you didn't have a robot do it? I think you're head is getting a little too big pal.
I would be willing to bet that WPJ actually forged all the metal by hand. With no gloves. In one day. Without even using metal.
Oh I thought He did the overbore and decked the head using nothing more than a cheap set of hand files from harbor freight.
