Cat converter.

I replaced my original '97 cat recently... it should have been turned in during the recall, but I was overseas. It's all broken loose inside and clunks like a can of rocks.

I don't know anything about value of these things. Does it still have a scrap value over the price of gas to get it to the scrap yard? What should I get for it if so?

Lots of value but very few places that will accept them because of all the theft. I had 2 friends hit last month!

Last xj one I sold I got 100 bucks for it, but that was a couple years ago.

Magnaflow has a recycling program. I think you have to have bought it from them though. I sent my 01 precats back to them and got $100.
