Carnage report

Lets hear it, better yet lets see it. I know there were no major failures, but lets hear what broke,bent,cracked.

All I did was mangle a sway bar disco and riped one side off my trailer plug box(steel) on my hitch.

Boiled/blew a Left front shock

Tagged the Hatch (again)

Scuffed up the Top Hat rack (can't say enough about it right now)

I'll probably find more tomorrow....

I got a funny noise coming from the rear when I go from a stoplight or stop sign. Almost sounds like the rear brake pads are hanging up(?) seems to go away at about 10mph ---weird!

I got a sunburn on my left forearm.

I had to tighten my front bumper,and I do have a BIGGER dent in my skid plate,Changing down to the 31`s sure cut down on clearence at the Funny Rocks.

Both upper and lower outside mounts for my rear drivers side tail light are cracked.

Mild Hangover on Sunday, small dent on Left rear drip rail (I know, GI John, you have really cool gaurds, stop rubbing it in!) and wounded pride that a bone-stock, street tired XJ (Karl) could hang with all us modified rigs.

Heh. Well, it's not at all "Bone Stock"....it does have a 2" lift and swaybar disconnects, running one-size-over tires (LT235-75-15). It runs great, (when running) has 300,000+ miles on it, and everything does work. Just lots of good old preventative maintenance. Other than that, look ma, no lockers...

dinged windshield frame
slightly bent right front fender
ripped off firestick bracket
sometime along the excursion home my dipstick tube came out (walter, that may be the reason why you had gunk on your windshield)

Well, last time I was there (exact same spot on obsticle) I did not hit the break light!! but needed a winch out. This time I hit the rock but did make it out under my own power.

But the consistency seems to be with the spotter

Actually mine did have some damage--I had to back up a little on one tight section to let someone by and a tree limb ripped off my bug deflector. It's not broken, I picked it up. Attached by double-stick tape.....second time that has happened.

Washed the xj today and found not carnage but lost the bolts and crossbar to the right front shock ,time to build another one.
