I thought Left Hand Canyon was up near Boulder? Those trees aren't THAT big are they? :dunno:

if you look at the photos in the other thread, that root bundle is taller than i am. hard to get good scale in the pix, but there's no driving over them. some jack*ss(es) have already decided to make their own new trail around the standing tree to the left, driving right through the wetlands/grasses.

Well I didn't know for sure. I've never been to either but I thought you were talking about different places. Those pics you posted were nuts. I guess that's from all that wind that we had?

You might want to watch the "other" colorado forum if you are heading that way. And if you plan on making the whole loop while you are there, sounds like there might be a little slower group up there. Wish i could make it.
