here are some of the pics I got today...really didn't take too many....just some junk for the site.


Had a blast with everyone! Brought the boards just incase...a Small North Swell never really developed at all...oh well! Never really wheeled on the beach before as in NH it's not allowed...drop $40 for a pass and we're good here!

Is the beach open for wheeling all year? That might make a good chapter event for November. If not then, December thru February are probably too cold, but March might be okay.

what beach is that RJ?? nauset beach in orleans?? i was told by a friend this summer it was $160 for a permit for the year.. and no temp passes were available.. although i didnt research it myself when i was out there in august.. the last i knew you could only wheel on the sand in P'town, orleans, and sandwich... that was when i lived there from '91 to '96...

after looking closer at the pics that is definately race Pt in P'town... i was there for 5 years with the Coast Guard.. we used to get out there free with our Govt dodge ram and wheel for hours.. they got angry when we put a "piping plovers taste like chicken" sticker on the rear bumper.. no sense of humor out there..

Are we talking Cape Cod, or Rhode Island? I thought you were showing us Cape Cod National Seashore. Last I heard, they sold day passes to ride the beach out there.

Nope just a 7day pass...what most consider the "day pass" $40...the season pass is $65...but you need to get that in APril.

cape cod is the ony Race Point i know of.. andd thats definately it (i think the giveaway was the "p'town" pic i didnt see before i asked.. ) i'm thinkin i'll get that season pass next year and do some fishing out there...

Cape Cod wheelin

Hello all. I vacation in Cape Cod every year for a week in July. My brother (YJ) and I have been up to Race Point a couple times. We'd love to get together with a bunch of other Jeepers and make an event out of it! We'd also like to hit up other beaches and/or trails anywhere around the Northeast. Someone let me know the next time anything is planned. Thanks!

Man, I'm coming up the week before Thanksgiving.
But we fly in, rent a car in Providence and drive up. Maybe we could rent a 4x4 for the occasion.
