I know.........I have issues. :dunno:

Those look nice!

I had a problem keeping them around when my wife's oldest came to live with us 4/5 years ago. I made sure he and some of his new "friends" saw me dig stuff out of the garbage disposal with a set and throw them back in the ol junk drawer...I still have that set. They sure help my stubby fingers out with the small stuff, haven't tied any flys for decades.

can't wait to 'borrow' those. is there a 5 minute rule?

Oh don't worry friend...I'll still have a set of black (read: boring), curved, Dr. Slick clamps in my chest pack for loaners. :D Did you know that my current clamps (the long, silver, stainless ones) were the ones the doctors used to put 5 stitches in my eyelid after it got ripped open?

Actually...I don't know if I'll be able to fish with you anymore. After all...in addition to these fine a$$ clamps, I'll also be rockin' Scientific Anglers latest GPX line that features the built in leader loop. Did I mention that it's welded and makes for even softer presentations? It's gonna be hot for you when you gotta wear that Simms jacket all summer long to keep up with the Jones'. Between the line and the clamps, you'll have to maintain a minimum of 73.6 yards between us. :D Might have to get a mediator involved when I find a shop that carries my new net.

Gotta go fish. I'm pretty anxious...haven't seen what Spinney Ranch looks like with more than 50cfs in months. I'll send a photo.
