So I'm looking for a winch bumper sorting thru different dealers & manufactures web sites & come across this kick ass cool bumper that makes a XJ look like an M1A1 Abrams, so I call to get a quote + shipping
and got a price of $1899.99 w/out shipping.
WTF are they thinking----
That's about half the cost of the average XJ for a f*****g bumper. !!! :eyes:
Cools cool but that's a little rich for me, I believe in supporting USA made products and folks here on the site but I think these guys are NUTS.

Nope, not going there ,not putting the manufacture on front street.
do your own searches not hard to find. will say I found a dealer that sold the same bumper from same manufacture & was priced at $899.99, a little more in line w/ ARB & others of same quality
however priced quoted from factory seemed way out of line.
Especially when the winch box is 3/16 & rest of the bumper is 1/4 skin even though it has cool features like internal fog lamp mounts & super low winch mount, integrated skid plate & kick ass looks half the price of the average late model XJ just seems WRONG!!!

I've searched for a couple of hours, still no luck...Lots of Bumpers I had not yet seen, but nothing similar to what the OP describes. But then again, I'm having a hard time envisioning just how a bumper could possibly make an XJ look even remotely like an M1A1 Abrams tank.....

OK just for you clowns, try looking up Trail Ready , located some place in the PNW call the 888 # & ask sweet thing -----if she don't say $1899.99---then my ass is the blackest

But what ever ,you gotta admit it's a damn sweet bumper & makes an XJ look indestructible. just wish I could afford it

And to answer the others My point was putting a 2k bumper on a 4k truck is kinda like these kids I see in their $2.59 Honda accords w/ $1500 bucks worth of stereo gear, don't make a lot of sense to ol' fart like me.
