Can I borrow your fuel pressure gage?

Anyone near San Jose have a fuel pressure gage that I can borrow at my place for a day or two, or use at your place for a few minutes?

Autozone and Oreilly don't loan them anymore for liability reasons and I don't really want to spend $50 on a new one. My XJ dies on the freeway and I suspect that the pump is putting out lower pressure or low volume.

Big thanks to Alex for checking out my junk today. (turns out it isn't infected)

Funny I rented one a month or two ago from autozone.

What ended up being to issue?

Long story short: I have had two issues in the last few months - 1) blowing lots of CPS's due to an exhaust with a huge hole in it heating up the sensors and frying them, and 2) got tons of mud in the gas tank when I submerged the XJ a few weeks ago. I fixed both of these issues last week by replacing the fuel filters and replacing the exhaust manifold.

When driving down the city streets there is no issue. When driving on the hwy at 60-65MPH there is no issue. On the hwy at 75, the XJ will shut off within a few miles. I suspected that it was either a fuel supply issue or the CPS I have on there gets warm and shuts down (it wasn't replaced even though it has been fried by the heat from the bad manifold, it was still working but is apparently not 100%). It is not a fuel supply issue - pressure was 47 psi (spec is 44 to 54). Its most likely that the CPS goes bad when it gets warm (higher load on engine at 75MPH = hotter exhaust pipe.) Combine the heat with a CPS that is probably marginal and it shuts down the XJ. I'll swap it out tomorrow.
