Camshaft Bearing installation

OK I got the block back from the machine shop 4.0 stroker
..told them about the cam bearings have a smaller taper progressively from front to rear...cam slides in nice spins free.My concern is the cam bearings have 2 with a groove inside and 2 with out.Durabond brand front one has groove then it alternates with 1-groove 2-no groove 3-groove 4- no groove.Is this correct?..I do not want any failures as there has been issues with cam bearings fail..:dunno:.

As long as the bearings were installed in the correct order with the oil holes lined up in the block, there shouldn't be any problem.

This is where I messed up a few years ago. Gotta make sure the oil holes are lined up.
