Camping this weekend. N. Georgia. (Close to Chattanooga!!)

That is great info. The only reason I was looking at a generator was for going "offroad" camping. Most of the camping I will do will be at campgrounds so I can just "plug-in" there. The solar panels are a great idea though. I can add a second deep cycle to the trailer, there is room for it and that sounds like it would be good enough if I can get a charging set up. I will have a small fridge also but for the lights, the trailer really only has two and they have the auotomotive bulbs in them. I haven't gotten any lights for outside yet so those could be LED's. I take it they don't pull as much power? I could even change out the ones inside for LED's I guess. I want it to be efficient 'cause I want to be able to go camping out in the woods, so to speak.

I can see I have a lot of research and learning to do. I may have several questions for you in the future.

Thanks Stump!!!

looks like that was a fun/relaxing trip...

i should probably try to make the next one, lol!
(being so close to me & all...)

Where did you find the outside portable shower set up? That looks alot better than what I found at Bass Pro Shops.

I think I got it online, probably through Amazon or something. To be honest, its great for a base camp set-up, as its nice a large, plenty of room for shower/toilet/changing room. However, the shower takes longer to set-up than any other part of the camping stuff. I will be getting a porta-privy soon. I tried one out, and it takes about 30 seconds to set-up. I will keep this one for longer trips, but the overnighters en-route to places, the porta privy will be nice.

Here is the one I have now:

Here is the one I want:

Video of it going up:

They both have their pros and cons.

Gotcha. I like the one you have but the ease of the porta privy looks nice.
