i was at work when it was welded in so the A piller is alittle farther back then I like. the head liner hade to come out and I need to find a way to mount my rear sound bar back up. other then getting in and out I love it for a DD

so how do you get in? the a pillar support comes out way to far and thehip bar looks really high... did you bend this cage yourself or did you weld in a kit? that tie in to the trans tunnel makes me a little nervous too...

getting in isn't that bad Im just fat so I have to climb in. I agree the A pillar is back to far add will most likely be addressed later. the cage was a rough kit that that a buddy of mine welded in. the bars going to the trans tunnel are just for extra support and triangulation. the cage will be modified more when cash allows just a staring point better then nothing

Yeah, I think I'd rather have the A pillar smack me in the face once, than have to climb through that every day.

But maybe you're in better shape than I am.

Probably.

not to bad looking. more pics of where you welded your floor mounts?

i had a real prob with mine caving the floor in. until i built the frame supports for it.

p.s. that is one dirty interior.

well arter driving a good bit today I will be moving the hip bars out towards the door alittle and the a piller up almost flish with the dash. the feet plates are welded the the tranny tunnel and rear supports and sitch welded and bolted on the A and B (very hard to weld to the floor even when you are over the unibody)

Its a Rhinocerous tusk! back off suckaz!

To each their own...I haven't seen it in person yet so don't really have an opinion formulated...

you got a bit of mud on your dash...

I need a cage but I think being a DD it would not be able to be like that...

so you mean to tell me that D&C Extreme, S&W race cars, and T&J all got it wrong on their design? well I think you should call these aftermarket manufactures, that have been building these cages longer then you have been driving a jeep, and tell them they have it all wrong
