I have this bumper and brush guard on right now.http://custom4x4fabrication.com/cherokeefront2.jpg

The headlight guard part of the brush guard just "float" held on by 2 bolts per side. I can probably bend them by hand.Any one reinforce this to make it stronger? One good whack on a tree and there goes my headlights.......

The main reason I ask this is I seen a deer standing on the side of the road late last night just waiting to f up somebodies front end and I know these headlight guards will buckle in a worst case senario.I don't worry about the bumper(3/16) or middle grill guard part, these parts seem fairly strong....

I knew I should've bought an arb bumper....

looks like you can weld a few links to the main part of the bumper from the bottom of the light guard. If you really want some beef you can even run some bars vertically all the way to the top bar, but i think that would be pretty fugly.

can you run a bar from the rear corner of the bumper straiht up to the bottom of the rear of the light guard?
