worry about it when it brakes.
How do you ID the different Dana axles. I've got an 87 and am curious.RangerRick said:Early XJ DANA 35s didn't have C-clips. The axles were held in place with a wheel bearing retainer plate. The big problem with braeking an axle on an 8.25 is if it breaks at the spline then you have to fish the remaimder of the axle out of the differential.
