Well, more progress in spite of some wasted time - tried to pull a radiator from one of my parts XJ's - the Truggy's is weeping a little - wanted a spare just in case. When I removed the upper hose the fitting crushed (fawkin' plastic tanks! :flamemad: ).
Fitting tube is time consuming! Needed to fix the front part of the exo Led cut away for clearance of the full width front and 37's.

I had to cut the bent tube away and start over. Didn't have a bender so I had to angle/notch - but it matches the other tube behind the tire so it worked out fine. I had to relocate the support tube for the bumper ends too.

Red Comet Extinguishers hooked me up by getting my CO2 tank inspected and filled today - they put it ahead of some others so I wouldn't have to wait until Tuesday.....
Still to do:
-Paint the new tubes/welds
-Install the Riddler diff cover on the 44 (just like a Crane)
-Paint front axle
-Install CB/antenna
-Install stereo/speakers (just gotta have tunes.....)
-Install center console (custom one with cup holders! :thumbup
-Install the other storage box.
-Install new u-joints in spare front shafts and find a place to carry 'em.
-Fix hi-lift mounting bolts (stripped and need relocated)
-Collect all other spare parts and figure out how/where to carry 'em.
-Replace smashed trailer tail lights (don't ask..........)
-Get the oil changed in the Dodge and check the brakes
-Check bearings on the trailer hubs
-And then, and then, and then........![]()
It all makes sense now. I was always wondering why there was missing tube up front! Looking good Troy!
