As if I'm not dealing with enough little issues from my lift install, I added to the list by shearing off a wheel stud a few days ago. I've picked up a replacement stud and nut, but I can't even get the busted stud out. So far all I've tried is banging on it with a BFH (shaft still in the axle) to no avail. That's really all I can do - I don't have the tools to press it out.
Any suggestions for dealing with this? I can pull the shaft and take it somehwere if somebody has the tools to help me press the busted stud out and press the new one in. Otherwise I figure I can just swap the shaft and be done with it. Is there anybody out there with a 29 spline 8.25 shaft laying around that they can sell? (hint, hint Yella) I'm leaving for Silverton first thing Sunday morning, so I've gotta come up with a resolution tomorrow or Saturday.
