Bumper mounted shackles?

I can't find any pics or write-ups. My leafs are a bit longer than expected. Even with boomerangs they bottom out on the body. Thinking about doing a rear bumper with shackle mounts. Other Ideas are more than welcome.

It isn't , but it is a nice build with bumper mounted rear shackles.

Just make sure you use more than the stock mounting locations... those 8 bolts won't do much the way they're situated.

Tie into the hitch/tank skid mounting holes as well and you'll be better off.

Yes, I use the f150 main leaf.

If you're going to mount your shackles on your rear bumper the only way I personally would do the bumper mounts is like foxwar71. I'm going to copy his mounts just for the fact it's going to be pure overkill and I know I'll never worry about them again. After watching him drop off a ledge and bending his uni-body I know they're more than strong enough for my application, and your's also.
