I'm thinking this is what I like. The light would be mounted off the back bottom of the 1 1/2" tubing.

I like how it looks below the bar, and it would probably be less obnoxious to your sight line, but it's awfully exposed there.
My vote goes toward above/behind the bar and above the winch. That way random trail things hit bar and not light.
You can't play bumper tag if your lightbar is the first thing to hit

The bar will come around the front of the winch to allow winch removal, and at the same time drop down. These pics are requiring imagination.
After I unclamped the light, and took the tape off I moved it around to where I believe will be it's final resting place. I may not be able to see the light and I won't see the bar.
