I was thinking about getting a 2" or 3" budget boost untill i can afford to step up to a real lift. i was looking at either getting the teraflex kit from 4wheel parts or getting the kit from rocky-road.com, has any one had experience with either of these. just trying to get the pros and cons of them to see if its worth getting, its just for my DD so ride quality is important.

I had the RE 2'' BB on my old 93. I ran 31's with some trimming. I got the Add A leaf instead of the shackle. It was very street friendly. I also had it locked in the rear and it was a very fun rig.

rocky-road.com's customer service sucks!! there is a thread around here somewhere about it. i haven't bought from them but tried to get some info on things before i bought and couldn't get any info so they didn't get my money.

edit: here is the thread http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=921549&highlight=Rocky+Road

Yeah, you definately chose the two worst companies to deal with (4WP and RRO). I would stick with a RE product from a NAXJA sponsoring vendor; DPG Offroad, FullsizeXJ, etc. They support us, we should do all we can to support them.

There isn't anything particularly wrong with the TeraFlex kit, I have just had a lot of good luck with Rubicon Express.

well the only reason that i was gonna use 4wheel parts was because i got $200 gift card for christmas and i wanted to get a lift and i figured use that since money is kinda tight right now. i was also looking at their tow hooks but couldnt find any info on them, in the picture the bracket doesnt look the same as the c4x4 one, so i dont know if it would work or be good
