Broken Into @REI downtown FYI

I parked in the very front parking lot above ground, middle of the day. Someone screwdriver'd the lock, stole my backpack and some jackets.. stuff i shouldnt have left in there DUH!! But i only mention this because the security guys for REI said that they have had a "rash" of break ins in all of there parking lots and that they had over 15 in 2 weeks before X-mas.. that the police actually ran a Sting op there as well... other parking lots of theres have cameras except the main one.. is was busy and snowing.. sucks man...

luckily i had my Club installed maybe they would have gotten away with the whole wagon train if not...

just thought i let you guys know if you go there to lock up alarm and carry all important stuff in with you...

maybe its time to shop at Eastern Mountain Sports. Hopefully they don't fund sierra club too

I didn't know the sierra club was bad, I thought they used to be supportive of sportsmen of all types

Sierra Club used to be about preserving AND enjoying the outdoors. There was a time when Jeep clubs were a part of the Sierra Club. Now they are completely about preserving the wild to the exclusion of humans. They tolerate mountain bikes in their place, but as soon as they have eliminated all motorized transport, they'll work on keeping mountain bikes out of the forest.
