Brewfest VII Saturday July 24

When we get a bit closer to the event, I'll start a head count/who's bringing what thread. I hope everybody who's chimed in so far can make it, and more folks too. The last couple years it's been the just the regulars, and fewer of them each year. I'd like to see a bunch of new faces this year.
At this point, it looks like the homebrew selection will be Oatmeal Stout, Houblonmonstre Tripel IPA, Danish Lager, Belgian Wit, and a Saison. Depending on how many of my buddies stop by between now and then, I may also have some Rye PA and the 9% Scottish Ale. As usual, if all you like is Miller Lite or other tasteless fizzy yellowish peewater, bring your own

Just throwing this out there, but if anyone likes Three Floyds stuff, I live minutes from the brewery. I can pick up some fresh stuff if that suits your fancy.
After bringing home more beer than I planned on after the NHC, *AND* completely spacing out on the American wheat that's fermenting, I'm not brewing on the 5th. I'm not even gonna be able to keg one batch until I empty one keg (or go buy another one.) Still, open door on the 5th.

9 out of 10 times i go out drinking its usualy the fizzy yellowish peewater, the other 1 times its usually something like a fat tire, three Floyd's, Guinness,or other off the shelf better beer
i like all beer but i drink the cheep stuff more cause you dont want to put a good beer in beer pong cups :cheers:

Bummer, I know you would appreciate the homebrews. Was looking forward to some more KBC brews, too.
Tonight I kegged the Wit, so I thought I would have a couple glasses of the last keg of Wit, maybe finish it up. Almost got a full glass...
The lager is lagering, the Saison will go into secondary tomorrow, still have some RyePA and Scottish Ale, plenty of the Oatmeal Stout and Houblonmonstre Tripel IPA.
I will start a head count/food thread next week.

Think we have the babysitter secured for the 3 day trip, so as far as I know it is a full on go! We will head out friday after work and stay at the quad citites and then roll out Saturday morning to head on up. cant wait :cheers:
