Since in December the holiday of choice is Christmas and most get a day off for that I say those that choose to wish everyone Happy Holidays should go to work that day while everyone else that wishes Merry Christmas gets that day off


Anyways, this whole thing is a bunch of BS. It was Christmas forever then a bunch of (don't know how to really call them) decided it's offensive and want to call the time HOLIDAYS. WTF? I have friends that come from many different cultures and religions and while I'm a Catholic I have no problem wishing a happy someone a happy Chinese New Year or Ramadan if that's the holiday at that given moment.... so get over yourself and wish me a Merry Xmas

The current resident at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. (hopefully not a long term tenant) wouldn't want to offend anyone in the Third World by referring to the big shrub as a Christmas Tree. Remember, we're not a Christian nation......

Happy Holidays is all inclusive. It includes the various holidays during this time of the year. It does not exclude Christmas. It's not some evil retail ploy to discriminate against the largest demographic in the country I assure you. Everybody is just so used to being specifically catered to that they feel slighted when they aren't.

By the way, I'll take what I want out on Christmas, I doubt Christmas is going to get it's feelings hurt. :illegalflipoffsmilie:

Enjoy the holidays, but don't get offended that not everyone is a Christian. The days of converting everyone at sword point are over. Might as well get used to it. Santa's a real Christian fellow, isn't he? A dwarf with magical powers who has flying reindeer and puts gifts under a tree that didn't grow where the savior was born, and comes from a land no one can go visit? I think I read about him in the Bible...

Christmas is no longer a Christian holiday in the conventional sense. It never really was, but it's less so now. Enjoy it for what it is- being glad your friends and family survived another year. Spend time with them, enjoy your traditions- but don't whine about it.
