brake light on no crank

went to start this mornin... turn to run all systems are running (headlights, fuel pump etc...) turn to start and nothing happens and the brake system light turns on... going to dive into it tomorrow just wondering if anyone has ever had this issue or has any suggestions?

Wild guess: bad ignition switch?
