Brake light and T/C Lockup issues after WJ Booster Swap

Did the WJ booster and master swap on my 89 XJ. Brake lights are fully functional when I connect only the brake light connection to the switch.

When I plug in what I think is the torque converter plug and the brake light plug, then the brake lights are constantly on. They both appear to only go on the switch one way, so wtf happened? The torque converter stays unlocked no matter what configuration I try.

I have been told that the 2nd brake light switch (the white one) only controls the cruise control release, but I can't figure out how to adjust that one either.

Any ideas?

I would recommend a newer pedal from a heep with the dual booster.

Yeah i had to use the newer brake peddle on my booster swap. Does your Jeep have ABS?

when i did the swap i had the same t/c issue. that little white switch has a plunger on it that can be pulled out farther or pushed in more to set it so the t/c unlocks when you push the brakes.

i did not have to use a new pedal for my swap.i did have ABS. but i did drill a new hole on my pedal a little higher up so the booster rod wasnt at such an extreme angle

Ditto, the switch is adjustable. At least is was on mine.
