Brake booster rod swap....

I swapped the rod from my 94 brake booster to my 97 the last couple of weeks. I would like to do a write up on the swap for . If you have an old booster laying around I need it and a new 97 up booster so I can photograph and write it up. If you have a 97 up booster to install but have not yet get an older style booster and I'l do the swap for you.

man i just thru a 97 booster away. literally gave it to a few mexicans to scap. was probably 2 hours ago

The 96 and up xj went to a dual diaphram booster. The ones before that were single diaphram. The rod on the 97 up boster is much longer then the early xj boosters. So a brake shop has to swap the rods for the 97 booster to bolt in on the pre 95 xj's. The swap is not easy and very few on here have done it. Most just get a 96 booster.

Ghost, you are welcome to my stock 92 booster when it's pulled. I was lucky enough to find a 96 booster in the JY awhile back, It should get done when I swap motors.
