Do you have spare shafts for the rear?

if you were talking to me, no I don't. the Toyota guys are pretty consistantly taking out R&Ps before stock shafts, and I have a spare 4.10 third, and probably getting a spare 4.88 from a buddy for cheap.

once I get 760 joints in the front my axles should be pretty close to unbreakable, all the way through Fordyce I never even went past half throttle.

Why is it that I always seem to start trouble wherever i go :laugh3: ....

I really appreciate all the advice and tidbits of wisdom. This will most definatly be a learning experience, and I gaurantee that I wont get it right the first go round! Ill get it good enough to wheel, and then like everything else make it work to my liking. If there is 1 thing that is for sure - its that this project wont be done anytime soon! Right now the goal is next january. For me, its simply a matter of money (hence the front leafs).

Specifically, I live in Cedar Ridge. But I sure would like to check out your MJ up close. I have read your POR post, but would still like to get a good look at your front x-member.

Since my initial posting on the ORC XJ board, I have made some decisions - I have decided to prolly run RE 2.5" YJ leafs. I opted out of the 44044 route pretty quick. It also didnt take me long to decide on 5.13's.

Welcome to the board. There's a lot of good fabricators on this here board and a lot of bozos with opinions not necessarily based on solid wheeling or building experience. You can figure which end is up. Throw some nerf bars and tow hooks on that rig and go wheel it . And get some spares for the D35.
