So I've been lurking on the forums for awhile now, posted a few times but never introduced myself, and I was talking to awesomexj and he said I should.  So here it goes! I'm Shawn, from Roseburg, Oregon.  I have a 1989 Jeep Cherokee Limited, that was given to me by my Dad when I was in a bind.  Here it is the day it came home.

Just needed a CPS and a little TLC.  Although the motor never sounded quite right, pretty loud knocking/rattling in the bottom end.  Also horrible oil pressure, here it is at 4000rpm going up a hill on the freeway!

So we got this to hopefully help that problem.

Its out of an '88, with the same mileage as my cherokee has on it (167k), 150lbs of compression in all 6 cylinders.

Here it is with the old motor coming out!

Unfortunately, we didn't get the other motor put in over the weekend so I'm currently driving a 1989 Toyota Camry station wagon :/

Good news is though, I got this tonight for Christmas!

3" zone offroad lift.  Front coils, full length AAL, and shocks :)

So I guess I'm more than just finishing up the motor next weekend!

Hope everyone has a Very Merry Christmas!
