Bosch 02 sensors = Bad MPG?

Here is a good update for those who'd like to know.

Bosch 02 sensor was not the cause of my bad MPG. MPG has remained the same after switching to NTK sensor.

Check the T-stat, and Temp sensor, and Air intake Temp sensors, they also affect fuel/air ratio. One of them may be way out of spec giving the computer bad info. Do an OBD-II check of fuel trims, O2 data Temp sensor data. Check the T-stat housing temp with an IR gauge. Should stay above 195 F.

Air filter?

Cat converter clogged?

Leaking fuel injector(s), or poor spray pattern (dirty), plugs, wires, cap and rotor?

Bad TPS (but there would be other signs)

Could be some of all of these.

Also check compression!!!! And check for smell of gas in the oil!!!

Well it doesnt look to be the 'main' culprit but it did make a slight improvement changing out to ntk sensors. Avg milage is up to 13 from 11.

Off to look for more contributors. :flamemad:
