boring throttle body new butterfly valve?

im thinking about boring my throttle body out..... itl cost me about $40-50... i have a couple questions though.... will i need a new flap since i bore it out? anyone done this before? what do i need to do?

If you just take the taper out of the bottom of the TB, you won't need a new plate. Mine works great with the stock one.
