ive been looking and looking but cant find the link im looking for to save my life. im trying to get hold of the guy/place that bores out TBs and takes your old one as a core charge of sorts.

flame me if youd like, ive already come to terms with the fact that its opperator error.

www.strokedjeep.com 62-64mm (i think) 90$ + 70 core

No flame here :D

F&B makes 66-68 but it's like 384$

Good luck :)

I noticed a great improvement with just taking the ring out of the bottom of mine myself. If course I had access to a metal lathe at the time...

There's a guy in the SEC who bores TBs relatively cheap- I think it's "trail rate this", but it's in a sticky in their chapter subforum. Online, I've found Fastman and some folks on ebay and various Jeep forums who bore TBs, and BBK, Edge, and someone else (JeepersCreepers or some such) offer oversized TBs as well.

mine has been bored strait through to 60mm. i still feel the motor runs rich at high RPMs. and there is a slight whistle that becomes very audible once a cold air intake is installed.

Blend the edges of the ports for the IAC better to get rid of the whistle. strokedjeep does this. The TB I have from him is quiet.

not to be too off topic but i ended up getting a edge products module from the trail jammer kit for a 62mm t.b., have a custom intake, and a 62.5mm t.b. I havent taken my spark plugs out yet to see waht color they are but what does the programmer exactly do besides just lie to the computer? and it seems like it has a little hesitation for a minute at 3,000 rpm for a sec., then takes off again.
