BOR leaf stiffness

Alright so I finally got these 6" BOR leafs off the road and beat on them out at South Dakota. I have heard that it takes a few trips where you really push on the for them to loosen up. Just curious if you all thought this was true, and how long it took? It was stiff out there, not too much flex out of them for sure. So, just curious for real world opinions. Thanks!

stiffness will vary from spring to spring. My BORs were pretty stiff for a bout a year. I don't get to go off road very often however. They are working really well now. It's much better than having them sag after the first trip out. That happened to my first set (NOT BOR, by the way).

They are always going to be stiff by design and by amount of lift. That's your tradedoff: leafs that will last about forever but limit flex to a degree.

FWIW, I love them, even though I'd like to get a bit more flex. The stability they provide is excellent in all situations and was exactly what I wanted when I bought mine.
