Anybody got any ideas how to get the black back in the body molding. It gets kinda grey looking compared to the front and rear bumper trim. Oh...its a 98 cherokee sport.

Tire shine stuff works well, but won't last more than a week if its really dry out, or if it rains. Easy to find and cheaper than the pro grade mail order stuff for plastic...armoral works too...

Saw a dude who used krylon fusion paint for plastic, looked ok far as I could tell from the pic. I think it was on this forum recently where I saw it.

Forever Black works well

I take a small propane torch and QUICKLY and GENTLY wave it over the plastic part. It will bring it right back to a shiny black and it will last for months.

Mothers back to black, make sure you aren't doing any paintwork right away because it has a lot of silicone in it

It does work well for all the black plastic on the vehicle, but for really oxidized stuff you have to rub it in for a while. It last for a long time as well. It works great on window moldings. Another is the side view mirrors that, the rubber base that the mirror snaps in and out of, to allow it to swivel back and forth. That oxidizes badly and turns grey, leaving a gray retangle at the base of the side view mirror. It takes some rubbing with the Back to Black but it slowly returns it to black rubber appearance.
