what's up with the dead tubes in the back? plans to tie those in to something?

No plans to tie them in. They extend about 6"from the d pillar legs and have gussets.

if I'm leaned over into a rock or tree i wanted it to protect my heep and slide the obstacle past my glass and body(and hopefully my hatch).

Got the interior put back together. I still need to get some padding for the Bpillar cross bar and the Cpillar X.

This pic is a little deceiving. The top of the X sits back a little. If I'm sitting in the seat I really have to stretch my neck pretty far to hit the tubes with my head. My girls heads do not come close... although in a violent roll I think it could be possible. Going to pad them anyways.
