Alright, first things first....I just bought my Jeep about 5 months ago. It has 234,000 miles on the odometer, but we aren't sure on the exact mileage (it was towed behind a motorhome for along time). Well the other day I noticed I was blowing a blue colored smoke out the back of the Jeep as I was driving down the road. I have also, started noticing, anytime I pull up to a stoplight smoke comes out the front of the Jeep (from underneath, not up top). Well I thought it might be a Valve Cover issue. So last Friday, I decided to change the valve cover gasket. I changed my valve cover gasket, but messed the gasket up when putting the cover back on. Well, I drove down the street and it was blowing more smoke out the rear (it is actually coming out of the exhaust pipe) and it was idleing really weird (wasn't doing this before). Well Monday comes around and I recieved the rest of my Lift kit parts that I had been waiting for. So, Monday I get started on installing my lift kit (@ 6pm). I firgured since I am working on the Jeep, might as well pull the VC gasket out and put it in correctly. Well, as of Tuesday at 6pm the Jeep is done. Well I am driving to work today and it is just billowing out smoke. When I am driving the smoke is blowing out the end of my exhaust. When I come to a stop, the smoke is blowing out the bottom of the engine. Has anyone had this problem? It is freaking annoying. The idle is weird and makes the power in the Jeep surge (all the lights will dim and then light back up). The RPM's jump between 250-500 at idle. I am completely confused.....PLEASE HELP!!!
