Birthdays

Just curious are birthdays automatically added to the calendar are is it manually added by the user. I have seen there are birthday announcements at the bottom of the forum.

Like i said just curiosity. I couldn't find an answer in the FAQ

If you go to the User CP (control panel) then to Edit Profile...there is a place to enter your birthday, and choose if you want it displayed or kept private.

If you have it displayed, it'll appear on the calendar, show up in the "today's birthdays" list at the bottom of the page, and I think the forum will generate a happy birthday email to you.

If you choose to keep it private, none of the above will apply.
