Okay so I'm posting here cause my jeep is more go fast than anything. And I just got done re-valving my 7100's. I needed the rear more stiff. When i got them the shims when as followed:
Compression(from base shim out):8,8,8,12,12,18,18
Rebound(from base shim out): 2,10,15,15,18,18
To make more rebound and more stiffness I flipped the compression to the rebound and rebound to compression. Then on the compression removed the base 2 and final 18 to make the shims 10,15,15,18 on the compression side of the piston. I'm more familiar with fox's them bilsteins and this worked amazingly last time. This time horribly. Now when I stand on the rear bumper it goes straight to bumpstops even with 190psi in the shocks.
Any ideas?? Im thinking go buy a rebuild and revalve kit from kartek in the morning. I'd love some input. Sorry if I've confused anyone. Just need some help here.
