Bilstein valving

Okay so I'm posting here cause my jeep is more go fast than anything. And I just got done re-valving my 7100's. I needed the rear more stiff. When i got them the shims when as followed:

Compression(from base shim out):8,8,8,12,12,18,18

Rebound(from base shim out): 2,10,15,15,18,18

To make more rebound and more stiffness I flipped the compression to the rebound and rebound to compression. Then on the compression removed the base 2 and final 18 to make the shims 10,15,15,18 on the compression side of the piston. I'm more familiar with fox's them bilsteins and this worked amazingly last time. This time horribly. Now when I stand on the rear bumper it goes straight to bumpstops even with 190psi in the shocks.

Any ideas?? Im thinking go buy a rebuild and revalve kit from kartek in the morning. I'd love some input. Sorry if I've confused anyone. Just need some help here.

try shooting a PM to "randomthoughtsrace" on here. His name is Joel he's a real nice guy and he just happens to work for Bilstein ;)

X3 on talking to Joel at bilstien.

It didn't work because you removed valving from compression. You need to add balcony I'd you want it stiffer.

Your valving on your rebound sounds heavy too.

I've got valving questions as well...Been reading on the forum a bit and I called Bilstein (I didn't talk to Joel but i did send him a PM)

What I've read is the seemed kinda off from what the guy i talked to at Bilstein said and now my head is spinning. From what i've read the majority are valving 275/78 or heavier the #'s Bilstein gave me seem really light (175/60 front and 255/70 rear)
I plan on using my rig as a all purpose (DD for now, trail, and go fast) I'm guessing it won't be really great at anything but it should be at least good at everything and probably perform better in one area over others. If I had to sacrifice it would be on the street, as I'd like it to perform best offroad.
I planned on running a 5165 front as I think i'm doing the T&J shock conversion and a 5160 rear unles it's worth stepping up to a 7100, but I also read the 5160 can be rebuilt to a 7100 and is better because of the reservoir hose config.
Currently I'm on a RE long arm with RE 5.5" coils and RE 5.5" leafs with ACOS in the fronht and JKS shackles and crossover shock mount in the rear
