Hey Mike, Thanks for helping us with the pre run today. Had a great time as always and cant wait till our Big Bear Big Event. Missed all the NAXJA guys today except for Mike and JJ but maybe will hook up with you guys on a later run. Later...Clint

It better have a LOST KJ West sticker or I will kick his Butt. ... JJ has been a LOST KJ West member from day one . Our club is a very active club and we wheel very hard and go on runs at least every month. JJ, like myself owns more than one type of Jeep and is very active with other groups. We just got back for a 10 day trip in Moab and had over 32 Jeeps for that run. You can ask any of the NAXJA guys that have made runs with us that we are a very fun club to do runs with. I was really hoping to see more of the NAXJA guys make it out today but only JJ and Mike made it out. Mike has been on many runs with our group and he is always a blast to have out on the trail. Later...Clint

Damn right it has a www.kjjeep.com sticker on it. I am a proud KJ owner and L.O.S.T. KJ WEST club member first, XJ owner and NAXJA member 2nd. Like Clint said, ask anyone that has wheeled w/ us and they will tell you they had a great time. KJ WEST is a very family oriented group and we wheel clean and sober and always have a great, safe time. We have Many different models of Jeeps represented in our club and we welcome any brand or model to wheel w/ us. Gotta tell you I love my XJ and I am having a Great time wheeling it for sure but my KJ is what got me started in this off roading madness and it will always be my favorite. Trust me, my future plans for it will make it an even better wheeling machine. Like any other Jeep, just can't leave it alone, gotta mess w/ it to make it better.
GROCERY GETTERS UNITE!! lol!

BTW, the XJ has a NAXJA sticker proudly displayed on it and you will notice my name is in Red, I joined before I even had a XJ. I am all about supporting the groups that support my hobbies. I will support Naxja as long as I have an XJ for sure. And it looks like that is going to be a long time.

You guys were parked on an offshoot and I was flying by and a guy was up on the trail... think his name is Mike said he was on SoCalXJ and I think here.

If i remember right his name was Mike... but I SUCK with names!

I was with a stock rubicon and a TJ on 33's

They got scared and absolutly refused to run jown bull.... so I ran it by myself

Then who the hell did I run into on the trail??? He thought at first I was Sintax and then I said drunk tank and he started laughing about somethin i said on here.

WHO IS YOU IS!!!!

New steel. 1' x .060 round tube for halos, 3/4" x .060 square for crossmembers and uprights, 3/4 x 13 (IIRC) for the expanded steel floor. Size = 70x40, ttl weight= about 60 lbs. Cost = Way too much, if you include the cost of the bender in the total. Will be working on another rack for my KJ next and then a larger die for other goodies.

Wally and I painted his KJ like that. We used PPG auto grade paint with no clear coat. Used a gun to paint it not a rattle can junk paint job at all. It's a lot of work to get this style down but it looks so much better than the rattle can big blobs camo jobs you see all the time. It was color sanded so the finish is smooth but no clear coating at all over it. We also painted his Adventrue Trailer to match. The lower half of the Jeep is Rino Lined. Did all the work at my house. We even had decals that say "Camo Edition". The guys from Jeep were all over this thing at Camp Jeep. By the way. I think this was the last time I saw this Jeep clean...right after the paint job.Later...Clint
