my Jeep doesn't enjoy the 105+ temps we've been having here lately.

Hell, I don't enjoy 105+ temps...let alone the jeep enjoying them.

On the gerry can's...if I can remember the name of the surplus place I'll try and give them a call. I just can't think of it right now.

Matt or Chris, Can you guys get the NATO style gerry cans in Vegas? With our BS regulation here in CA you can't get em at the surplus stores here. I'm looking for a source outside of CA.

Sorry I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but you could call:

Hahn's World of Surplus
702-649-6819

They seem to have a ton of stuff, been in there once or twice.

Well, I'm not much of a morning person...

So maybe meet at camp (the location of which will be decided here very soon) at about 9 - 9.30 ish...?

I'd love to go, I might be in the area of Yucca Valley (actually Joshua Tree) this weekend, but I am poor and can't afford the extra gas if I do make it up there...ho hum :(

I wont be able to make this run, was looking forward to it. Sick kids :puke: & altitude dont mix. I'm just gonna have to take the big Junk out to Bronco Peak instead.

I'll be there for Sunday at least. Saturday is a possibility in the morning and afternoon, but I have plans for the evening.

Hope she's cute :)

It's not too late at all man. When would you like to meet up with us?

For the Saturday morning crowd...

I think the best thing is to meet up at the Big Bear Discovery Center at around 9.30 - 9.45, I'm just too incertian of where the camping will be (I don't know how if the camping will be full).

The Big Bear Discovery Center is on North Shore Drive (Highway 38) between Fawnskin and Stanfield Cutoff.

Basically you'll take I 10 into Redlands, then 330 up to big bear. From there you hit 18, when you get around big bear 18 & 38 split, go 38 (you want to be on the north shore of the lake), once you pass Fawnskin the Discovery Center will be on your left, kinda hard to miss.

If by chance you accidently end up on the South shore of the lake you can take Stanfield Cutoff across the lake, turn left, then the Discover Center will be on the right.

We'll be monitoring CB channel 4, my cell number is 310.621.1634.

Hey everyone, thanks for a great trip. I just wanted to let you know that I have plenty of web space to host pictures or anything on the trip. Thanks, Chris

yea, sorry for slacking. I got my pictures up too. I did not take very many because we were always kinda moving and busy. Did not seem to have much downtime, except for those two tire changing delays.

Anyways...pics can be seen here.
