Best trailering tie down point

Too bad I was so hungover and not with it in your tie down discussion...cause I strap down to the axles, run the straps straight in the front and crossed in the back... with my terrible body roll on the jeep I still have no problems with sway from the suspension 'working' while the jeep is on the trailer...not even when i was towing with the bronco or the dakota...

Towed to moab last year and more times than i can count to attica this way with rachet straps and never one problem...

When I told the story at camp that night, Beezil asked me why I didn't use the trailer brakes to stop the trailer from swaying. I told him that Steve was right behind me and I didn't think that the brake lights came on when I used the brake switch on the brake controller..

That was what I asked you too! And yes you're brake lights will come on with the 'oh crap' button on the brake controller...as long as its wired correctly...aaaaaaaaand its a great way to get a tailgater to back off...
