Best of Craigslist

Wow, that ended up selling for $16k. I get that it only had 36k miles, and it is in amazing condition, but it's a freakin' 4x2 and doesn't have cruise control (which is weird to me considering it's fully optioned otherwise), and that after market hitch is crap. I'm saying it now, good clean unmolested examples of XJs are going to become collector cars.

From what I see of the listing, it didn't actually sell.

It was listed at ~$16k, but didn't sell (not surprised).

That being said, its a dang nice XJ though.

He just needs to list it on ebay and he'll get $13k+ for it. His price is actually low if you consider the National market for them right now.

Very true, but selling a car on eBay is going to be a headache.

Plus, eBay is going to take a nice chunk of the sale, and then there's the possible dealing with deadbeat bidders, shipping, etc.

Not saying that it isn't worth it, there's a sucker born every minute.

A sucker that's willing to spend WAY more than they should on an older vehicle with nothing THAT (i.e. collector) special about them.

Westymog......... awesome.

Posted up some closet door on Craigslist, with where they were located...easily seen sitting up against the shop...

This is an email I just got:

"unless they're not sitting outside of the shop THX FOR THE WASTED TRIP ASHOLE!!"

Yes, I'm the azzhole who gave you clear directions and indications on where they're at, and your unable to clearly comprehend this.

Made laugh actually.

They're listed as free...said I'd take the ad down when I saw them gone.

They're still there, and they might be gone for a couple hours before I "check" again.

Some peoples kids
