So... A lifted Gremlin with the driveline out of an Eagle? You do know it was Jeeps first AWD car... It got bad press for it's lack of "off road capabilities" but then, it was designed to be a street vehicle.

I wouldn't mind having one actually. Not a Gremlin that has been bastardized, an Eagle.

They forgot used car math is not 1+1+1= 3:
http://denver.craigslist.org/cto/4377012008.html

(So far, my experience says XJ math is 1+2+1+4= -2...)

In other news... seen a 2-door (with "other" doors) for sale for a few weeks in Lakewood on Wright St (N off Jewell) if you're in the area and want to gawk. $$ unknown...

Edit:
Just saw this: http://naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1110257

For that asking price (which is redonkulous... 208K Miles?) one would think that the rock rails could , at the very least, have a nice coat of paint on them.

But.... No..... Just put it out there all rusty. Obviously this person has never sold a used car. Me, I tidy everything up. A complete detail job, in truth, gets done. Interior, exterior, engine bay and under carriage. All tidied up.

After all, perception is reality.

Yeup...another retarded Dodge owner.

Yep..... They're everywhere....

We just prefer driving our trucks to constantly wrenching a Ford.....

:moon:

I think the retarded part was the price and the fuel economy claims, not the dodge :spin1:

idk, dodge automatics suck. i just dumped 1800 bones in hi perf towing parts for my transmission....peace of mind is priceless tho

Anyone who disagrees is suffering from stockholm syndrome. :confused1

Weird...my response last night didn't go through.

What I *meant* to say was another retarded *diesel* owner.

I have no brand loyalty. I have what I have since I wanted reliability, and a true 4 door in my price range.

However, I have noticed of them all, it seems people want STUPID amounts of money for then first gen cummins trucks. My friend and roommate has a first gen, and completely agrees with this. Most older diesels seem overpriced, but when truck shopping I noticed anything "Dodge Cummins" related took the cake.

Typical of when I was looking and even now:

"Yeah its a Dodge CUMMINS First Gen"

"Sure, $10k+ for you 200k mile Dodge truck thats nearly twenty years old that has next to no creature comforts and rides like a stiff brick seems like a good deal "

"BUT BUT BUT ITS A CUMMINS!"
