I honestly don't like it. It's like my jeep less roof and gears... But his has no winch either? Wtf put all that time into something and if you get stuck not have a winch to pull yourself out. Oh wait it probably doesnt even get wheeled.

I know some folks here really like the look of an XJ that's been cut-up....and to each his own I guess. But it just doesn't resemble an XJ after being cut-up. Might as well buy a CJ/YJ/TJ/Flavor of the month-J.....

For the most part I only like Jeeps with square headlights or a Willy's-Overland badge. While I do appreciate a nicely cut up XJ I think the YJ with its full frame is a better buggy platform. I like XJ's to be mostly full bodied and running 33-35" tall tires. MJ's on the other hand are awesome truggy'd out. Keep the cab and front clip, lose the rest. I love a MJ truggy.

I would absolutely love a CJ-2a. I very much want to build one up. One of my best friends in high school had one and we used to romp around in that thing all winter long with no doors and only a bikini top. I unfortunately lost contact with him after joining the military and subsequent deployments. Sadly I did get in touch with his family not too long ago to find out he had killed himself almost a year ago now. I can't help but think about what I could've done to intervene had I made more effort to stay in touch. Alas, I've always loved the CJ-2 and now they really hold a spot in my heart.

I have known the previous owner for about 5 years now - I have seen this rig grow to what it is now and I have wheeled with it, when I had my other XJ. This thing will do just fine on Billings, minus the no beadlocks - LOL.
