Best of Craigslist

it's a special deal for people who wish they were OJ

skyler -- that's a beastly looking leaf sprung rig. Are you planning on DD'ing it? I wouldn't, but if its put together right it won't be a problem (except for that rubber on a DD) - Shane DD'd his leaf-sprung XJ for years.

The "locked" is questionable, as a tracloc is alot closer to open than it is to locked, its a crappy oem limited slip -- you should get some clarification on that.

The rubber isn't worth alot, particularly as 16.5" rims blow, literally tend to blow a bead...

that kingpin D60 front is worth more than a few bucks, though.

$4k seems like a pretty fair price if its in good condition!

EDIT: I looked through his build thread/photobucket, and I think it all looks pretty good, with the exception of the driverside spring perch on the front axle - that inner ubolt is hokey and kinda scary.

ya that things a steal for the 4k price. would need some going thro and new rubber for sure...

but looks clean

Saw that jeep driving up I-70 when I was coming down last month. It looked huge and was passing cars in the left lane...

pricey, but pretty. I'd say its a touch too tall...

37s on a d30? :explosion

would not get along with my wheeling style at all.

I see that truck at Pioneer Landscape Supply over in Aurora when I have to go to Buckley for work. I drool every time I drive by. I never stopped to look at it, but looks great from the street.

Wait........ Whut?

A GIRL did the damage? I thought Mason was a dude....... :gag:

2006 Yamaha Warrior, Midnight edition
1700 V-twin
5 speed transmission
3,190 miles
2-1 open exhaust.... sounds really mean
Dual disc brakes w/twin piston calipers
R1 wheels and suspension, handles like a dream, closer to a street bike than a cruiser but of course still has that cruiser feel
New battery
New belt
Good tires
Clean title, never been laid down
A couple months ago, some teenage girl took a turn too tight in the parking lot of a mall and clipped the front corner of the bike. Didn't fall over or anything, frame is straight, engine and trans are fine, but she dented the tank and bent the front left inner fork tube. Its only a few hundred worth of fairly easy repairs, and I can do it all myself (ASE certified mechanic) but I can't justify spending the money on it till I find another job. I love this bike and I'd hate to get rid of it, but I need the cash.
I paid $8k for the bike... I'll take the best offer I get for it, need the cash. I'll also trade straight across for a Jeep CJ7, YJ, XJ... would trade for firearms too.

I almost sold it a couple weeks ago, and after he checked it out and I showed him the damage and we agreed on the price the guy started getting all sketchy and started haggling with me on the price because he was "worried about buying a bike that had been on its side." Its pretty minimal damage, I had it checked out by the dealership I bought it from and have the invoice from that which I showed him, but he was using it to try and get an $8k bike for a couple grand... and he's not been the first one to try and do that.

What's in that ad hopefully will eliminate that. Is it right? No, and I don't really like it, but I'm getting pretty damn tired of people's crap.
